Objects in scope for archiving include fourteen ECC SAP Archive Objects and seven eWM SAP Archive Objects.
The project involved defining the storage medium, which included options for SAP Content Server, both on-premises and in the cloud (AWS / Azure). This encompassed tasks such as defining server versions, compatibility checks, landscape diagrams, configurations, and sizing considerations.
Efficient Data Management: SolGenie's expertise in data archiving streamlined Cardone Industries' data management processes, resulting in improved efficiency.
Enhanced Data Retention: The project optimized data retention policies, ensuring that only relevant data was retained, saving storage costs.
SAP Content Server Implementation: SolGenie successfully implemented SAP Content Server solutions, both on-premises and in the cloud, ensuring data accessibility and security.
Knowledge Transfer: The project concluded with knowledge transfer to the Archive Team, empowering them to maintain the optimized data archiving system.
Outcome of the SAP Data Archiving project includes the following accomplishments: the archival of fourteen ECC SAP Archive Objects and seven eWM SAP Archive Objects. A noteworthy result is a significant reduction in combined database sizes by 412 GB, resulting in a 36% decrease.
